KIKIAM: "Sound & Conviction"

These are some of the songs that I kept on listening over and over for the past years up to the present. I don't know why -- but these are some of the components of my system.
Every song equates to reminisce. Every shuffled tune brings flashbacks and an awkward feeling that's actually the same during the time when i was just like using one of 'em to be a compensation.
Retrospection -- remembering the times, those happy smiles and cloudy downfall.

During my younger years when i was in Elemtary, we had an annual overnight Camping in our school starting when you reach the 4th Grade level. With lots of activities and stuffs.
That time MP3 players and iPods were not invented yet, even mp3 or camera phones though.
So at the middle of the night when lights are off there was this awkward silence, all i can hear are my classmates whispering some gossips. I had this cassete tape played on my walkman with earphones on. It's a Savage Garden album -- Santa Monica was my favorite cut from that album.
I wanted to play it on repeat till i'll be gone asleep but unfortunately i had to rewind it back and forth. I don't even have a discman that time. Poorass.

Last Week, in a sober day i was browsing youtube and i remember SG's song so i searched for it.
I was expecting to view the music video but it's unavail. Instead, i just listened to the song and downloaded it so I can now set it on repeat mode on my Media Player. I really liked the emotions delivered by Darren Hayes on that song and the lyrics as well. It Supplements the cold weather and supports a melancholy state of feeling somehow.

From the Album "The Science of Things" bought by my deceased Sis/Cous as a gift for my Birthday -- the song Letting the Cables Sleep by the BUSH is a material of her immortal memories for me.
Every now and then i always remember her like a pictured-out album cover. Where there were a certain shades of green on it that would always remain as a symbol of her loving memory.

"Whatever you do is alright, whatever you say is all good"
-she's always been a cheerleader.

Came Year 2005 where screamo was a sound of music. The time that the genre was not overrated yet & abused by making it as a fashion sense. Darn! Well, in my case i did'nt like much of but some of those artists which has a good substance in their songs.
Like when i recently heard again the song Gifts and Curses by Yellowcard i remembered the time when i was liking someone and made a one line lyric from the song to be a caption on a photo.

"I see your face in every punch I make"

i saw a box full of my old cd's -- it was actually ruined by the typhoon last june of 2008. so when i try to pull up some things on it, i found my favorite stuffs like coldplay, metallica (the master of puppets album), the nirvana unplugged, i even tried to play it and it's working. oyea. so i kept on pulling up everything out of the box -- and here it goes i found the local ORANGE & LEMONS (darn!) but when i open the cd case there's nothing inside. but the album cover and the list of tracks are still readable. so i decided to download the songs either.

I really liked the song Lihim especially during the time when i was in a bus to Roxas City.
and Here comes my illness again of playing a song on repeat. I really could relate much of the ponding lyrics and its perfect melodic tune for my emotions during that time.
I was wooting on it 'cause apparently it counts more on my daily segment of denying the fact that I AM into someone still.

ERASED!
